2012 Chatfield CSA Program Information
The CSA provides approximately 21 weeks of produce beginning in mid-June and ending in late October. We offer two distribution sites to pick up shares: Denver Botanic Gardens at York Street on Tuesdays from 4:30 - 7 p.m. and Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield in Littleton on Thursdays from 4 - 7 p.m. There are two share sizes available for purchase: a Peck (feeds 2 adults) and a Bushel (feeds 4 adults). Pecks are $325 and Bushels are $650. Please see the chart below which includes a weekly breakdown of the share cost per adult. You can also purchase a fruit share for $210. The fruit share includes 11 weeks of local organic fruit (provided by Ela Family farms in Hotchkiss, CO) which is pre-bagged and available at each week’s distribution.
Additional CSA Shareholder benefits include local Chatfield honey and fresh cut flower bouquets available for individual purchase, a weekly CSA e-newsletter, invitations to CSA shareholder events and community activities, as well cooking demonstrations, recipes and more! You will also receive a discount on our new CSA Education Series! You will be able to sign up for classes this spring.
